Italy to Open Cultural Center in Palestine

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Franco Frattini, Italian foreign minister, said Wednesday before the foreign relations committee and the Committee on Culture in the Italian Parliament that Italy will open a cultural center in the Palestinian Territory, “ We didn’t have a cultural center in Palestine but now we will. Until now it was dispensable, however, Italy now is absolutely convinced of supporting the establishment of a Palestinian state, therefore there should be an Italian center in Palestine alongside the one in Tel Aviv.”Frattini stressed that the opening of this center is a “ practical sign and a proof of the attention given by the Italian politics to the Palestinian Territory.”/129
